摘要
哈佛大学本科生教育的重要特色之一是住宿制和导师制,学院式生活方式一直是哈佛大学的崇高目标。哈佛大学的住宿制和导师制经历了模仿起步、中道废弛、改造重振、稳步发展的历程,成为哈佛大学本科生必修课程、选修课程之外的第三课程。
One of the most eye-catching features of Harvard undergraduate education is its residential and tutorial systems. Collegiate way of living is always lofty goal of Harvard founders from the very beginning of its founding. Harvard University＇s residential and tutorial systems have experienced 4 stages： imitating at the beginning, disposed for a time, restructured in the 1930s, maintaining steady development. Now it is widely regarded as the third curriculum of Harvard undergraduates besides prescribed curriculum and elective curriculum.
