摘要
进口贸易对经济增长的贡献一直被人们所忽视,理论界也很少研究。文章从弥补供给缺口、缓和贸易摩擦、诱导国内需求与激发技术创新等四个方面阐述了进口贸易对经济增长的作用;并利用1978￣2005年的统计数据,对进口贸易与经济增长的内在联系进行研究,结果表明二者之间存在着长期稳定的动态均衡关系,进口贸易对我国经济增长具有很强的促进作用。据此提出适度扩大进口,优化进口结构,实现外贸基本平衡的政策建议。
Import-based trade contribution to economical growth has long been ignored and seldom studied in the theoretical circle. This paper attempts to address this topic theoretically and empirically. Theoretically, import＇s function on economical growth can be seen from four aspects,namely,offsetting short supply, alleviating trade friction,inducing domestic demand,and stimulating technical innovation;empirically,the contribution is identified through statistic data,which shows a long and stable active balance and a strong promotion of China＇s economical growth. Finally, the paper puts forward suggestions on policy-making about proper import expansion, optimization of import structure, and foreign trade balance.
