摘要
当前中国高等教育发展形势大好,具体表现在:其一,学生数量的增长;其二,办学形式多样化;其三,教学质量在某些方面有所提高;其四,高等教育经费快速增加。但与此同时,高等教育发展过程中也存在诸多有待解决和研究的问题。比较突出的问题有:一是高等教育发展的规模速度问题;二是如何看待高等教育质量的问题;三是高等学校的分类、特点与发展方向问题。总之,对当前我国高等教育的发展既要看到其形势大好的一面,同时也要正视存在的问题,只有这样,才能使我国的高等教育稳步健康地发展。
It is claimed that the global tendency is quite good of the modern Chinese higher education in terms of the increasing number of students, diversity of schools, improved quality of teaching, and added investment. And meanwhile, the paper also lists certain problems to solve, namely, the speed and scale of the development, the way to assess the quality, categorization and development of universities. It is concluded that all the foregoing issues should jointly be taken into account to ensure a healthy progress of the modern Chinese higher education.
