摘要
欧里尔(C.J.O’Leary)是一位长期探索以人为中心或人本取向伴侣咨询的当代美国心理学家。他汲取了罗杰斯人本理论的精髓,注重以共情理解、真诚透明、无条件积极关注以及非干涉的原则来促进伴侣关系的成长。首次用中文对欧里尔的咨询实践和理论探索的成就作了初步归纳,对其工作在我国咨询专业中的应用含义作了尝试性的评价。
O＇ Leary is a contemporary American psychologist who has explored practices and theories of couple counseling with a person- centered orientation. He adopted the person - centered principles of empathy, congruence, unconditional positive regard and non - directive or no - interference approach in order to facilitate clients＇ tendency of self- realization and relational growth. This paper tried for the first time to synthesize O＇ Leary＇ s practical and theoretical endeavors, and tempted to draw some implications for the development of couple counseling in China.
