根据内蒙古东、中、西部沙地、内陆湖、冰缘现象的发育与演变,讨论了全新世以来内蒙古环境演变过程,提出了对全新世中期沙漠化的形成环境、全新世环境演变特点及对现代环境影响的认识.
According to the development of the sand land, nuctuations of the inland lake level,perglacial stages and 14C data in the eastern, middle and western parts of Inner Mongoliain the Holocene, the natural environmntal evolution in Inner Mongolia in the Holocene isreconstructed. It is considerde that there were four desert development stages and ourperiglacial stages in Inner Mongolia in the Holocene. Actually, not ouly the warm-humidclimate existed in the middle Holocene, but also the desertifications ekisted as well underthe cold-dry or warm-dry climatic environment since the middle Holocene. Owing tc In-ner Mongolia is just situated in the transitional area of monsoon climate and inland clinatein North China, the reverse evolutions of natural environment occurred frequently in theHolocene. The nuctuations of monsoon climate caused the environmental evolutions in thetransitional area. Thus, the environmental evolution features formed under large variationrange of precipitation and the opposition between humid climate and windy climate. Thewarm-dry climatic formed at least in the middle Holocene, and it enhanced graduallysince the middle Holocene.
