摘要
广告英语是有别于普通英语的一种独具一格的应用语言,各种修辞手段在广告英语中的灵活运用,加强了广告的感染力和号召力,使广告英语更能有效地实现其广告目的。本文通过一些典型具体的英语广告例子,对广告英语的修辞手段及其功能效果进行了归纳和分析。
English in advertising is one of the application languages which differ from common English. The flexible application of various forms of rhetorical devices in advertising enhances the appeal of advertisement and renders it able to effectively attain its goals. The paper analyzes rhetorical devices in advertising and its features by some typical examples in advertising English.
