摘要
国际博协对博物馆的定义可分为两个阶段,1970年代以前主要侧重于对博物馆功能的界定,1970年代以后则着重强调了博物馆与社会的关系,这反映了博物馆发展的客观过程。美国将博物馆定位为非营利机构的一部分,而中国博物馆则承担着一定的政府职能。当前对中国博物馆的改革不能照搬西方模式,而应按照中国的国情逐步开展。
The definition of ICOM can divided into two stages： before 1970＇s, the function of museum is emphasized. After 1970＇s the connection between museum and society become more and more important. In American, museum is a kind of Nonprofit Organization, but in China, it assume some of governmental function. Now in order to development museum, we should not change the model of management only on the western model, but on the connection between our museum and our society.
