摘要
光盘数据库的发展对传统信息服务业是一个挑战，也是信息服务的新模式，本文通过国防科技情报光盘中心的建设，介绍了该中心的建设目标和原则、基本网络结构及光盘数据库的建设情况；提出了光盘数据库服务中的几点想法。强调光盘数据库的建设不是目的，服务才是目的。
The development of the CD-ROM database is the challenge to traditional information service. It is also new mode of information service. Through establishing Defense Science and Technology. Information CD-ROM Center, the paper introduces its subject, principle, basic network construction and present situation, provides several ideas of CD-ROM database services.
