摘要
美国黑人女作家艾丽斯.沃克的小说《紫色》向我们讲述了黑人女性茜莉在家庭和社会中所受到的双重压迫下的悲惨生活。在其他黑人女性的帮助下,茜莉的女性意识开始觉醒,并认清了自我价值,从而由被压迫走向新生。小说反映了作者的女权主义思想,挑战了男权中心的权威,活生生地展示了黑人女性从苦难的阴影中摆脱出来,自发团结在一起的共同奋斗历程,为黑人女性冲破婚姻、家庭的束缚,获得身心自由和追求自我解放指明了道路。
The Color Purple by the American female novelist Alice Walker describes tile miserable life of a black Woman Celie under the pressure of both the family and the society. With the help of the other black women, Celie＇s female conscionsness begins to arouse. She also recognizes her self-worth so as to break away from oppress to rebirth. The novel reflects the author＇s feminism thought and challenges the authority of man. It tells the black woman＇s experience of getting rid of the tribulation and holding together spontaneously for their own lives. The novel also points out the way for the black women to break through the bondage of the matrimony and to gain the freedom and self- liberation.
