乙基橙偶氮聚合物全光开关特性的研究 被引量:1

摘要 用偶氮染料乙基橙ethyl orange为客体材料掺杂到主体材料聚乙烯醇(PVA)并用旋涂法制成了偶氮聚合物薄膜样品,用不同功率和不同调制频率的控制光(532nm,CW)和探测光(632.8nm,CW)实验研究了乙基橙聚合物薄膜样品的全光开关特性。研究结果表明,在室温下以及在几个毫瓦的弱功率和毫秒级控制光条件下,乙基橙聚合物薄膜具有45%以上的开关调制深度,最大的调制深度在90%以上;研究发现增大样品的掺杂含量可增强全光开关效应,但开关的本底信号也相应增大;选择合适的掺杂含量可获得较好的开关性能。 The all-optical switching polymer thin films with azobenzene dye ethyl orange as the vip material and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as host material were prepared by the adulteration and the spin-coating methods. In the experiment the laser (532nm, CW) which was modulated by a chopper and the laser (632.8nm ,CW) were used as control beam and probe beam, respectively. The all-optical switching characteristics of the sample were measured at different control beam modulating frequency and different control beam power, and the experimental results were analyzed. It is shown that, in room temperature condition and with the control beam power of several milliwatts and the control beam modulating velocity of millisecond magnitude, the all-optical switch has the depth of modulation above 45 % and the good characteristics of all-optical switch are shown. In addition, it is found that the samples with higher dope content show stronger all-optical switching effect but the larger background signal, and good switch performance is obtained by choosing the dope contents 0.7wt%-1wt% of the sample.
