Test Methods on Geotechnical Properties of Municipal Solid Wastes

摘要 城市生活垃圾(MSW)的土工特性关系到填埋场的沉降预测和稳定分析。MSW土工性质与土有较大的区别,需对MSW的土工试验方法进行专门研究。介绍了采用虹吸筒测定MSW比重及采用充气法测定MSW孔隙率的方法原理;分析了MSW吸力的影响因素,并进行了吸力量测试验;研究了MSW降解压缩的机理,介绍了MSW降解压缩试验仪的功能特点及试验结果。 The geotechnical properties of municipal solid wastes (MSW) are critical to settlement forecasting and stability analysis of landfill. Test methods on geotechnical properties of MSW like specific gravity test by siphon cylinder and porosity test by gas charging, have been studied in this paper. Based on the analysis of factors influencing on the suction of MSW, a test of the matric suction of MSW was made. The mechanism of the MSW biodegradation and compression has been studied. The subsequent results of the MSW biodegradation and compression were also introduced in the paper.
