摘要
现代性与文学性,应是中国现代文学研究的两重基本尺度。近些年来,现代性视野已经得到了许多学者的高度重视,具体研究也已取得了令人瞩目的成就,但从整体上看,还不够深入,还缺乏深邃精警的成果。要获得更大的突破,尚需加强对中国现代性历程本身的复杂性,以及诸如现代性与民族性、现代性与阶级性、现代性与革命性之间关系的探讨。在“文学性”的研究方面,亦仍存在不足,迄今为止,尚没有出现一部真正属于“文学”的“中国现代文学史”。在具体的作家作品研究方面,也还缺乏更为充分的“文学性”观照,某些既有现代意识又有文学价值的作品,还没有得到应有的重视与评价。中国现代文学研究应进一步努力的是既要从宏阔的人类历史进程出发,强化现代性的研究视野,又要立足于文学本身,坚守文学性的尺度。
Modernity and literariness should be a dual fundamental yardstick in the studies of modern Chinese literature. In recent years, the perspective of literariness has been valued by many scholars, and specific studies have gained considerable achievements, but on the whole, it is not thorough enough yet, and lacks profundity and penetration. To attain greater breakthrough, we need to more deeply discuss such problems as the complicacy of the process of Chinese modernity itself, and the relations between modernity and nationalism, modernity and class nature, as well as modernity and revolutionariness. And there is also inadequacy in the studies on ＂literariness. ＂ Up to now, a ＂history of modern Chinese literature＂ which thoroughly belongs to the field of real ＂literature＂ has yet to emerge, in the studies of specific writers or writings, more sufficient perception of ＂literariness＂ is also absent; some works with both modern consciousness and literary value have not received proper assessment. Scholars in this field should make further effort and proceed from the broader course of human history, strengthening the research perspective of ＂literariness＂ as well as basing their studies on literature itsetf and sticking on the yardstick of literature.
