摘要
中国古典文学至“五四”时代开始门庭冷落,不过在此格局中,就《红楼梦》这部旷世奇书而言,却是一个例外。对于20世纪中国小说家来说,“《红楼梦》情结”已无可避免地成为了进行创作时普遍摆脱不掉的“梦魇”。可以毫不夸张地说,《红楼梦》对诞生于其后的20世纪中国小说具有原型和范式的意义。
The Chinese classical literature became unpopular since ＂May 4th＂ era. Nonetheless, as far as A Dream of Red Mansions, this unprecedented unusual book, is concerned, it is an exception. As for the 20th century Chinese novelists, complex of A Dream of Red Mansions has inevitably become a ＂nightmare＂ which cannot be ridden in the composing process. Without exaggeration, we can say that A Dream of Red Mansions has significance in prototype and example for later 20th century Chinese novels.
