SInordertostudyefectofsomanonperipheraldigestivefunctioninrat,themethodsforrecordingmyoelectricactivityofsmalintestineandfordeterminingquantityofgastricacidandrateofin-testinalabsorptiononD-glucoseandL-trypto-phanewereused.Theexperimentalresultsdemon-stratedthattheamplitudeofsmalintestinalmyo-electricspikingwaveswasincreasedby36%-50%,thequiescentphaseofmigratingmyoelectriccomplex(MMC)wasshortenedby57%-70%,andtheir-regularspikingphaseofMMCwasprolongedby72%-124%aftersoman35μg·kg-1im.Theseef-fectscouldbepartialypreventedbyHI-610mg·kg-1im.Thequantityofgastricacidwasreducedby38%aftersoman35μg·kg-1im.Theabovementioneddfectsofsomanlastedabout24-48h.SomanhadnoefectsonfunctionofabsorbingD-glucoseandL-tryptophaneofsmalintestineandactivityofpepsin.
