摘要
从中国烟草品种种植的历史出发，分析了品种在烟叶生产中的基础地位，提出种植品种单一是限制烟叶生产发展的主要因素。结合中国烟叶原料特点，从育种目标的调整、育种手段、品种资源、遗传规律研究等方面，提出了适合中国烟叶发展需求的育种对策。
Based on the history of tobacco cultivation in China, the paper evaluated the basic role that variety played in the tobacco production. By analyzing the problems existed in tobacco production of China, it pointed out that the few choices of tobacco variety is the key limiting factor which hampered the development of tobacco production. Taking into consideration of the raw leaf tobacco supply in China, the tactics suitable for the development of leaf tobacco production were presented from several aspects including the adjustment of the breeding goal, the methods of breeding, the germplasm resources, genetic patterns and so on.
