摘要
系统地描述了调制结构的一些基本概念，如卫星反射和主反射，基结构和平均结构。从假想的一维、二维调制结构出发，推导出高维晶胞的表示式，进而建立了四维空间点阵。
General definitions related to modulated structure such as main reflection, satellite reflection, basic average and structure are explained in fairly detail. Four dimensional lattice is constructed by extending to high dimensional case the lattice parameter expressions which are deduced for hypothetic one and two dimensional modulated structures. And essential features of four dimensional lattice are illustrated qualitatively.
