摘要
潘岳人品构成具有多重性和变动性,既有“必立功立事”、佐君定邦的理想,也不乏关注民生的真情;既未坠“正道直言”的公心,亦难免依附权贵的俗行和沦为帮凶的污点;在宦海沉浮的痛苦中,萌生过隐逸山林的高情,却又不甘于“人未尽才”的勇退的人品构成及其特点。潘岳的诗赋,也恰成为其思想和情感的载体,向人们展示了他复杂人品中美好的一面。因此,不赞同根本否定潘岳人品和为潘岳人品全面翻案的两种倾向。
Pan Yue＇s character is composed of multiplicity and variation. He made contributions by helping the emperor to stabilize the country yet concerned himself with the people＇s livelihood, spoke without reservation yet attached himself to bigwigs, wanted to retreat form reality yet reconciIed. His poems are a carrier of his idea and feelings and reflect his good part of character. Thus this article doesn＇t agree with the two tendencies： absolute negation and complete approval.
