摘要 分析了电子地图和纸质地图的区别,探讨了当前各种流行的G IS软件的符号制作功能,分析了其优缺点,并简要分析了电子地图和纸质地图符号的设计差异。同时采用面向对象的方法对地图符号进行了详细的描述,最后就实现的通用电子地图符号库Em apSymbol简单介绍了其实现方法。实验表明,采用面向对象的方法开发地图符号库,技术思路正确,所开发的软件具有良好的封装性,便于维护和扩充,且绘制的符号完全符合电子地图的显示要求。 This paper analyzes the difference between electronic map and paper map, probes into symbol manufacture function in various current popular software of GIS, and analyzes its merit and shortcoming, and current, and popular software of GIS, and the differentiation between the electronic map and paper map; and analyzes briefly the difference between the electronic map and paper map symbol designing, at the same time, describes the map symbol in detail based on OOP technology, at last introduces the method of the universal symbolic database in the electronic map EmapSymbol which has been implemented. The experiment indicates that, using OOP technology to develop the map symbolic database, the technique is appropriate, the software developed has great encapsulation, easy to maintain and extend, and the symbol drawn meets the manifestation request of the electronics map absolutely.
