摘要
边缘特征是图像最为有用的高频信息。边缘检测在图像处理和计算机视觉中起着非常重要的作用。本文在简要介绍小波变换的基础上,给出了小波变换的边缘检测理论。边缘检测采用3次B样条小波。实验证明,利用小波变换提取的图像边缘效果明显优于sobel、canny等传统的边缘检测方法。
Edge information is the most important high frequency information of an image. Edge detection plays a very important role in the image processing and computer vision. In this paper, we first introduced wavelet transform , and then proposed a new edge detection theory based on wavelet transform. The method of the edge detection by using 3 -spine wavelet'was presented. Finally,computer simulations show that the performance of the proposed new method is great better than the sobel and canny algorithm.
