The base paper board for compound soft package is a high-tech, high profit and high market potential product with low raw material price. The major raw materials are chemi-mechamical wood pulp and chemical wood pulp and there are special requirements for its making and product. The base paper board should have a higher stiffness, lower MD/CD strength ratio, uniform surface density, higher surface flatness and desirable sizing for higher water resistance capacity.
