基于长支集小波的可伸缩视频编码及其并行实现

摘要 离散小波变换由于具有良好的时空频率局域性和多分辨率特性,已经成为可伸缩视频编码的理想工具.可伸缩视频编码只需编码一次就可产生完全可伸缩的嵌入式码流,对码流的一部分解码可以得到不同质量和时空分辨率的视频.本文在MC-EZBC的基础上,通过采用提升型长支集小波进行亚像素精度的运动补偿时间滤波和空间分解实现了对MC-EZBC的改进,在中高码率时的性能可与H.264/AVC相比较.在南开之星上实现了并行编码,取得了较高的加速比. Discrete wavelet transform is very suitable for scalable video coding due to its time-spatial frequency locality and multi-resolution analysis. Fully scalable embedded bit stream can be generated from source video frames, which are encoded only one time by using scalable video coding scheme. Decoding a part of the bit stream can get video frames with different quality and time-spatial resolution. In this paper, Enhanced MC-EZBC (EMC-EZBC) is implemented based on MC-EZBC, in which long support wavelet based on the lifting scheme is adopted in sub-pixel accurate motion compensation time filter (MCTF) and spatial analysis. The experimental results show that EMC-EZBC is comparable to H. 264/AVC at medium and high bit rates. Parallel EMC-EZBC is implemented on Nankai Stars cluster system and high speedup is obtained.
