Improvement of the Power System Static Load Margin Using FACTS Technology

摘要 以连续潮流法为工具,研究静止无功补偿器(SVC)、静止同步补偿器(STATCOM)以及可控串联电容器补偿(TCSC)3种柔性交流输电(FACTS)器件对系统静态负荷裕度提高能力的影响,建立了SVC、STACTOM和TCSC用于潮流和稳定分析的模型。介绍了用节点参与因子和支路参与因子作为指标,选择并联补偿设备和串联补偿设备最佳安装地点的模态分析法。IEEE 14节点系统实现的算例表明:3种装置都可以提高系统静态负荷裕度,但影响程度不同。 The paper studies the abilities of three FACTS controllers:SVC,STATCOM and TCSC, in improving static load margin (SLM) of power systems through continues load flow tools. The power flow and stab ility models of these three controllers are founded. And then based on the strategy of modal analysis, two indices-bus and branch participations, are presented to selecting the optimal placements of shunt controllers and series controllers respectively. Simulation results of IEEE 14 bus system indicate that 3 kind of instruments can all improve the system static load margin but with different degree.
