Abstract An overview of the sustainable development,its origin,concept and development,is presented in thefirst part of this paper.The second part discusses the main implication of sustainable development. Thethird part is about the aspects to be considered in implementing the strategy' of sustainable development and introduces some key actions in this field in China. The deeper studies on sustainable development that have to bedone in the future are pointed out in the lost part.
