The design methods of four kind of commonly used igniters of Solid Roctet Motor (SRM) are considered in this paper.C Language is used to complete software programming.A software package has been worked out for designing the igniters of SRM,which uses Chinese interface,window input and drawing show.The software package can predict mass flux time curve and pressure time curve of the igniter,transient pressure time curve in main motor pressure set-up process and pressure time curve for the SRM with the given free volume.Therefore the package SRMICAD will serve as an important tool for design and theortical analysis of various solid rocket motor igniters.
