摘要
迄今为止,现场仪表在有爆炸危险区域中的应用问题和现场仪表的功能标准化问题尚未解决,从而阻碍了PROPIBUS在过程自动化中的广泛应用。西门子公司和PROFIBUS用户组织PNO所属的其他公司,运用过程现场总线PROFIBUSPA共同填补了以上空白。PROFIBUSPA特别吸收了IEC标准物理层(ISO/OSI模型的第一层)的有关规定,因而可以连接由总线馈电、安装在有爆炸危险区域内的本安型现场仪表。
Until now, widespread implementation ofProfibus in process automation has been hindered by the lack of standard function and a solution for using processinstrumentation in potentially explosive areas. This gap hasnow been filled by siemens and some other companies inthe PROFIBUS user organization PNO with PROFIBUSPA. A special feature of PRoFIBUS PA is the IEC stan-dardized physica1 link layer (layer 1 of the ISO/OSImodel) that allows the connection of intrinsically-safe fielddevices, fed via the bus, which are located in potentiallyexplosive areas.
