摘要
网格是近年来兴起的一种前沿信息技术。本文论述了网格的概念及其技术内涵,介绍了国内外网格技术的研究进展以及网格技术和数字图书馆技术结合起来的且具有代表性的工程DILIGENT工程,重点论述了网格技术在数字图书馆发展建设领域中的应用以及未来数字图书馆的发展建设需要通过网格技术解决的问题。
Grid is a kind of advanced information technology. This paper analyzes the concept and teclmical connotation of grid, introduces the worldwide research progress of grid technology, and the combination of grid and digital library technology with DILIGENT project. It mainly discusses the present and future applies of grid in the constrction of digital library.
