摘要
从利用和内容两个方面分析了期刊品种与复本的差异性。指出图书馆“保品种砍复本”的实质及存在的主要问题，认为期刊资源共享是解决购刊经费不足的主要途径。
Analyses the difference of periodicals with duplicates or non-duplicates from utilization and content. The diagram shows the relationship among the content, the number of copies and the number of readers. It indicats the implication of keep titles and cut down duplicates and its weakness, and points out the basic foundation for cooperation and coordination in the subscription of foreign periodicals.
