在花岗岩形成时代的研究中已广泛采用了K-Ar、U-Pb、Rb-Sr,等多种同位素年代学方法,并已开始了Sm-Nd法的尝试。本文讨论了各种定年方法对不同时代、不同成因花岗岩年龄测定中的方法学问题,特别是Rb-Sr等时线测定年龄的各种问题。从花岗岩定年方法学角度看,现代的微量、颗粒锆石U-Pb法是首推的可靠方法.
K-Ar, U-Pb and Rb-Sr geochronometric methods have been extensively applied to dating granitoid rocks, and Sm-Nd mineral isochron has also been used to determine the formation age of Paleozoic granitoid rocks. This paper presents a brief methodological discussion on the dating of granitoid rocks, which deals with some advantages and limitations of the methods employed to date granitoid rocks of diverse geneses and periods with the emphasis on some problems concerning whole-rock Rb-Sr isochron dating of granitoid rocks. As viewed from methodology, small sample requirement and/or single-grain zircon U-Pb methods are recommended to be the most reliable in dating of granitoid rocks.
