摘要
本文对新疆奎屯地区地方性砷中毒病区居民发砷值及头发超微结构进行了研究。结果表明:砷中毒病区居民发砷值显著高于对照区,病区中有砷中毒皮肤病变的患者其发砷值高于非患者; 扫描电镜下观察头发表面超微结构的变化,发现砷中毒病区居民毛小皮出现明显的病理变化。病区改用符合卫生标准的水后,经过两年的时间、发砷值降低到接近正常95%上限值1.5μg/g;扫描电镜下观察。毛小皮的结构基本恢复正常。调查结果还提示,应注意地方性砷中毒病区砷对非患者的潜在性危害。作者认为,用发砷值来评价地方性砷中毒病区改水效果是较为敏感和客观的适宜指标。
Hair arsenic contents and ultrastructure of the hair were observed in an endemic arsenism area in Kuitun District, Xinjiang. Hair arsenic contents of residents in the endemic area were significantly higher than those in normal areas and, within the endemic area, hair arsenic contents of arsenism patients were higher than those of normals. Ultrastructural observations by scanning electron microscopy found obvious pathologic changes on the hair surface. However, hair arsenic contents reduced significantly after water improvement for 2 years, which approaching 95% upper confidence limit (l.5μg/g) for normal hair and, the hair surface returned to its normal structure. The study suggest latent harm by arsenic in endemic areas and hair arsenic contents may be sensitive and objective indexes to the effects of water improvement.
