通过对英国保险市场概况、结构、保险费收入、赔款、国民保险费支出和保险资金投资等方面的数据进行研究，并对伦敦劳合社的发展、市场结构、市场管理、安全措施及管理变化进行分析，得出结论，了解英国保险市场和伦敦劳合社市场的运作，对发展我国保险业具有借鉴作用。
This article studies the UK insurance market from the aspects of general market situation, structure, premium income, claims payment, national expenditure on insurance and insurance fund investment. It also elaborates on the development, market structure, market management, security policies and changes of the Lloyd＇s of London. It arrives at the conclusion that understanding the UK insurance market and the operation at Lloyd＇s can help China with its insurance industry.
