摘要
讨论了Ｏ２ＤＢ中应用程序开发的一般过程以及数据定义的方法．然后给出了一个为Ｏ２ＤＢ开发的实用程序，即数据定义语言辅助工具Ｏ２ＤＢＤＤＬＴ．该语言工具能帮助用户完成数据定义的全部过程，并且自动维护所有用户定义的持久性类（通过维护模式库）．此外Ｏ２ＤＢＤＤＬＴ还提供了比较完善的范式测览功能、用户存取权限控制功能和数据完整性约束功能．
Introduces the features and implementation of data definition language and supporting tools for O2DB, and objed-oriental database prototypal system, where the DDL is used to create, maintain and destroy user defined schemas (i.e. Calsses).
