摘要
柳宗元因贬谪南方而与岭南文化结下了不解之缘。一方面,他以激进政治家的姿态,部分地吸收了岭南禅文化,并对岭南商业文化表示了排斥;另一方面,他在岭南推广儒家文化,采用政治、经济、文化等多种手段,对岭南落后的民俗文化进行了改造,为唐代岭南文化品味的整体提高做出了杰出的贡献。虽然他的言行对岭南文化的发展也不免有负面影响,但他运用独到的思想与方法重建岭南文化,至今仍有很大的启示意义。
LIU Zongyuan happened to be tied with the Lingnan culture as a result of his being banished to south China. He, as a radical politician, partly accepted the Chart culture of Lingnan but rejected the Lingnan commercial culture. On the other hand, he spared no efforts to promote Confucianism in the Lingnan region, which brought reformation to the backward Lingnan customs and culture by means of politics, economy and culture. His efforts led to the advancement of the Lingnan culture. Although his opinions and actions had negative effects on the Lingnan culture, his unique ideas on and approach to the restructuring of the Lingnan culture are still englightening.
