1995年4月卫生部与英国国际麻风救济会签订了第二阶段麻风康复合作协议(1995～1998)。自1995年6月开始,卫生部确定在13个省市自治区的73个市、县、区及医院开展,至今已有一年。 为了保证项目的顺利实施,卫生部于1995年5月在南京召开了研讨会。
After first cooperation program for leprosy rehabilitation between PRC MOPH and TL-MI had been smoothly completed, since May of 1995 second three year program on it started, which covered 73 units in 13 provinces and cities. In the first year, following the preparatory works had been accomplished, early detection of neuritis, self-care on eye - hand - foot, wearing protective footwear, management of complicated plantar ulcer and fitting artificial limb were already carried out in over 87. 64% of the program. To complete the task successfully , it has yet to strengthen administrative and economical management and technical guidance.
