摘要
在我国目前汇率制度改革的背景下,本文试图从产业组织角度探讨人民币实际汇率变动对我国纺织品出口价格影响的汇率传递问题。采用Johansen协整技术,以美国市场为主要研究范围,以印度和韩国作为我国主要竞争对手,以人民币实际有效汇率变动对我国棉纱、棉机织物纺织品的国际竞争力影响程度及特征进行实证分析,并最终认为人民币汇率变动对纺织品出口价格没有明显的影响。
As China is continuing to deepen the RMB exchange rate reform and China＇s RMB exchange rate has been appreciated by nearly 2% against US dollar since July 21, 2005, the new situation raises the question of whether the exchange rate pass-through has finally risen. This paper argues the relationship between RMB real efficient exchange rate and export competitiveness in Chinese textile industry. It uses Johansen test method to examine the stationary property of variables and to test co-integration. And estimation results show that exchange rate variability has a negative but not obvious effect on cotton yam exports and cotton woven fabric exports.
