摘要
“草根文群”是美华文学创作队伍中的一个独特群体,它生长于美国移民社会的底层,其创作具有作品内涵的底层性、文化指向的寻根性、创作方法的现实性、人文关怀的深切性等共同特点。这一文群的产生与发展显示了美华文学的立体性和丰富性。
＂The Group of Grassroots Literature＂ is a distinctive circle in new overseas Chinese writers, which has grown up in immigration society of America. The writings of this group have distinguishing features such as depicting the lowest social stratum, searching for the root of culture, using the artistic means of realism and so on. So the emerging and developing of this literary group show that new overseas Chinese writings are becoming a rich and colourful literature.
