摘要
同济大学的建筑系是1952年全国院系调整时由好几个来自不同院校的建筑学教学部门组成的,其中之一是圣约翰大学的建筑工程系。文章回顾了圣约翰大学建筑工程系的历史概况,教学特点,建筑观点及其教学方法以及系内的各种活动。
The Architectural Department of Tongji University was formed by several architectural departments or teaching sections from different universities or colleges during the national reorganization of colleges and departments in the year 1952, one of them was the Department of Architecturel Engineering of St.John＇s University. Here is a brief recollection of the above mentioned, of its history, its teaching teams, its idea of architecture and teaching method, and its school life as weil.
