Web Impact Factors:the Index of Quantitative Analysis for WEB Site

摘要本文将对网络影响因子(WIFs)这种基于链接的分析方法的产生,发展及其应用进行讨论。从网络计量学诞生到现在,这种分析方法不仅仅有了很重要的发展,而且与之有关的网络数据搜索技术也不断提高。目前WIFs也已经被认为与传统的文献计量学研究存在很强的相关性。从本文分析中可以发现文献计量学通过对超链接的分析已经被应用到网络信息的研究。此外本文对未来的此项研究提供一些建议和经验总结。 This paper reviews how this linkbased metric has been developed, enhanced and applied. Not only has the metric itself undergone improvement but also the relevant data collection techniques .have been enhanced. WIFs have also been validated by significant correlations with traditional research measures. Bibliometric techniques have been further applied to the Web and patterns that might have otherwise been ignored have been found from hyperlinks. This paper concludes with some suggestions for future research.
