The Application of Direct-fed microbial on Ruminant Production

摘要 直接饲喂微生物(DFM)能提高育肥牛日增重和饲料利用率,提高奶牛泌乳量,改善幼龄反刍动物的健康状况和生产成绩。然而,DFM的作用很不稳定,其作用模式不明。文中主要介绍了DFM对反刍动物健康和生产性能的影响,讨论了其潜在的作用机理,并对有待于继续研究的问题进行了探讨。 Direct-fed microbials (DFM) have been shown to increase daily gain and feed efficiency in feedlot cattle, enhance milk production in dairy cows, and improve health and performance of young calves. However, responses to addition of DFM have been variable and inconsistent, and the mode of action remains unclear. This review summarized the influence of DFM on health and performance of ruminant animals, moreover, information on underlying mechanisms was discussed. It also discussed some aspects which needed further research.
