摘要
分析了XML存储数据的特点。简介了XML本源数据库(NXD)并讨论了它在工程中的应用。提出用NXD实现产品数据管理的方法并分析了它的优势。设计了一种面向PDM的XML本源数据库管理系统,简介了其实现方法。
The character of storing data by using XML （extensible markup language） is analyzed. Native XML database （NXD） is introduced and the application of NXD to engineering is discussed. The method of managing product-data by using NXD is brought forward and the advantage is analyzed. A PDM-oriented （product data management） native XML database system is designed and the method of the realization is introduced. The application of PDM-oriented NXD to manufacture information engineering and the developmental perspective is analyzed.
