摘要
嵌入式设备竞争激烈的产品市场,要求能更快、更有效地进行数字处理器的设计。论文对ARM公司全新的OptimoDE设计技术进行了研究。OptimoDE设计技术是一种可配置的数据处理引擎和工具集,它采用VLIW(超长指令字)体系结构,用户可自主配置数字处理器的资源,通过在线仿真,生成高效的嵌入式专用处理器系统。文章分析了OptimoDE的实现原理,给出了设计与集成的方法,并对应用实例进行了性能分析。研究表明,OptimoDE技术是一种高效方便的设计方法,代表了目前嵌入式产品设计的发展趋势。
The intense competition in the market on embedded equipment requires quicker and more effective digital processor design.The paper discusses a brand-new OptimoDE design technology.The OptimoDE design technology is a configurable data processing engine and tool-kit,which uses VLIW(Ultra Long Instruction Word) architecture.The users may configure the resources of digital processor through the on-line simulation,and produce highly effective specialpurpose embedded processor system.This article analyzes the OptimoDE realization principle,produces the design and the integrated method,and carries on the performance analysis to the application example.The research indicates that the OptimoDE technology is one highly effective and convenient design method represents the development tendency of embedded product design.
