An Analysis on the Development of Island Financial System in Malaysia

摘要 This article focuses on the development and characteristics of the Island financial system in Malaysia.The Island financial system was initiated in the early of 1980s and went into matured development period in the 1990,with its business scale and capital assets increasing fast.For years,Malaysian government has been making endeavors to further reform and enlarge its Island financial system.Malaysia is becoming one of the financial centers and "Financial Holy Land" of the Moslem World. This article focuses on the development and characteristics of the Island financial system in Malaysia. For years, Malaysian government has been making endeavors to further reform and enlarge its island financial system. Malaysia is becoming one of the financial centers and “Financial Holy Land” of the Moslem World.
