摘要
荒野与人类的深刻联系在于:从时间的维度上来说,荒野是人类的根系和故园;从空间的维度上来说,荒野是人类的邻居。但是,当人类在空间的维度上与荒野对峙,却总是遗忘自己在时间维度上的荒野渊源,从情感的维度上把荒野视为遭遇陌生者的地方。人类的文明史因此经历了荒野之魅、荒野祛魅的时期。在人类对现代性的反思之中,理应发现荒野与文化的对立是文明的偏颇。面对荒野,通过敬畏与亲近两种情感的熏陶,人类可以实现自由精神的回归与超越,人类文明史进入了荒野复魅时期,荒野因而具有审美价值。
The profound relationship between wilderness and human beings lies in two aspects：from the viewpoint of time, wilderness is the root and hometown of human beings ; from the viewpoint of space, wilder- ness is their neighbor. But, when they confront wilderness in space, human beings always forget that they came from wilderness in history. Therefore they regard wilderness as the place where they encounter strangers emotionally. So the history of civilization has experienced the period of the enchantment and disenchantment of wilderness. Today, in the reflection of modernity, we should realize that the confrontation between wilderness and culture is a kind of mistake of civilization. Facing wildness, by means of edification of two kinds of feel- ings, awe and intimacy, we may realize the spiritual return and transcendence, and the history of civilization may once again enter a period of enchantment of wilderness, which thus possesses the aesthetic value.
