摘要
在液晶材料中掺入少量的光聚合性聚丙烯酸酯单体材料,使用普通的取向剂材料(预倾角为3°~4°)制备了一种聚合物网络稳定的270°扭曲的SBE器件。相对于没有掺杂聚合物的常规SBE器件,该器件的驱动电压明显降低,而且在驱动过程中有效地克服了条纹缺陷。文中讨论了在液晶中聚合物的浓度以及固化电场对器件特性的影响。
A polymer network stabilized 270°SBE device with common alignment layers (pretilt angle is 3°-4°) have been obtained by doping a low percentage of a photo curable diacrylate. A controlling electric field was applied during polymerizing. The driving voltage of this device was lower than that of SBE cell without polymer dopant and the stripe formation was significantly eliminated. The effect of the amount of polymer and polymerizingelectric field was also investigated.
