摘要
图书馆涉及到计算机的业务主要有馆藏目录查询、数据库查询、网络电子信息资源查询,传统的PC模式是分布式的,并且每一台PC均需加装硬盘写保护卡(或者通过其他的方式例如软件来锁住计算机的系统分区),以防止公共用户随意更改系统设置,增加了购置写保护卡的投资。在PC模式下,计算机上的资源是分布式的,每台计算机有自己的硬盘、操作系统,所有PC机连接在一个局域网内,在应用的过程中就不可避免的会传染上病毒,并且病毒可以迅速蔓延,造成极大的管理难度。本文通过全面分析和比较,提出了一套方案,从设备的选型及配置上解决了这一管理难题,大大减轻了图书馆计算机管理部门的管理负担和资金的投入。
The library business involving in computers mainly includes: catalogues inquiry, database inquiry, and network electronic information resources inquiry. Traditional PC mode belongs to a distributed pattern, and each PC needs to install a hard disk write protection card in order to prevent the public client from altering system setup at will. This hasincreased investment. Under PC mode, resources at the computer belong to a distributing type, each one has hard disks and an operating system, and all the PC computers are connected to a computer LAN or WWW. During the process of an application, it is unavoidable to be infected by viruses; meanwhile viruses spread very rapidly and bring great extent of difficulties to management. Through analysis and comparison, this paper has put forward a set of programs solving the difficult problems from type and configuration selection of equipment, thus greatly reducing the heavy burden of library computer administrative department.
