摘要
1550-1850年发生在英国的农业革命既包括技术革新,又包括农业制度的转型。它使英国农业领域内的社会生产力获得了巨大飞跃,普通民众的生活质量得以明显改善。农业革命之前,普通民众的饮食以谷物、杂粮为主,间或有食用肉食的现象;农业革命以后,他们的饮食结构发生了明显变化,以小麦为主,肉奶食用量明显增加,人均每天摄入热量的数字得以大幅度提高。
The agricultural revolution, which took place from 1550 to 1850 and included agricultural technology and agrarian system, made the productivity of agriculture improved greatly, during which the living standards of the commons got better and better. Before the revolution, the diet of the commons consisted mainly of grain and meat occasionally. After that, wheat became the primary food and the quantity of meat and milk consumed increased distinctly while the quantity of heat absorbed by one person a day was increased greatly.
