摘要
正交技术也称相位检波器技术或两源技术,它是相位噪声检测中最灵敏和最宽频带的技术,在整个偏离频率范围,正交技术提供优良的灵敏度特性,可用以测量高质量的标准器(微弱紧靠近载频噪声),或具有现代技术水平的自激振荡器(低的宽频带噪声)。业已表明:这种高灵敏度特性可用作为相位检波器的高电平混频器和最低总相位噪声的参考源获得,这种技术的优点是:除易于实现自动化外,最低的总噪声背景,宽的输入频率范围,宽范围的偏离频率和一定程度的调幅抑制。
The quadrature technique is atso called the phase detector technique or the two-source technique. It is the most sensitive and broad band technique. The quadrature provides good sensitivity over the entire offset frequency range; it can be used to measure hioh quality standards(weak close-in noise)or state-of-the-art free-running oscillators(tow broadband noise). The sensitivity shown can be obtained with hioh level mixer as a phase detector and the lowest overall phase noise reference source. The advantages of the quadrature technique are that the lowest overall noise floor, wide range and some AM suppresion, as well as easily automated.
