摘要
该文叙述了丹霞盆地红层的古地磁学研究工作的全部过程。通过对岩石剩余磁性的测量及数据分析,揭示了丹霞红层下部存在着一个长间距的正极性带,这可以跟地磁极性年表中的“白垩纪静磁带”相对比;上部则以反极性为主。结合同位素年龄测量资料,对照地磁极性年表,对丹霞盆地红层的时代归属得出以下认识:丹霞红层下部长坝组最老地层的时代为早白垩世早期,上部丹霞群最年轻地层为晚白垩世中期。
This paper discribes all searching process of paleomagnetism in red beds of Danxia Basin innorthern Guangdong. Analytical data of remanent magnetization reveals that in the lower part ofDanxia red beds exists a long interval normal polarity zone which can be compared with 'Cretaceousnormal superchron' in Revied Geomagnetic Polarity Time Scale, but it is mainly revered polarity inthe upper part. According to isotopic dating data and comparing with Revised Geomagnetic PolarityTeme Scale, the idea is brought up as below the olddest strata of Changba formation in lower Danxiared bedding belongs to the lower part of early Cretaceous, and the youngest strata of Danxia group be-longs to middle late Cretaceous.
