摘要
根据粤闽台网和汕头地震遥测台网资料，讨论了１９９４年９月１６日台湾海峡南部７．３级地震的序列特征及震源机制等问题。分析认为，此次地震为大陆地壳下部破裂的产物，与北东向断裂活动有关。
Based on the data recorded by the seismological network of Guangdong and Fujian provinces and the telemetering network at Shantou area, the Ms7.3 earthquake occurred in Taiwan strait on Sep 16,1994 has been analyzed in the characteristics of seismic sequence, focal mechaniSm and so on.It is reconned that this seismicic sequence of the Ms7.3 earthquake is a mainshock-aftershock type, which was caused by the rupture at the lower continental crust and related to the f&ult activities in the direction of NE.
