所谓卡斯威尔海上航行规则指的是根据事态状况制定轻重缓急注意事项。当你在航行中遇到另外一艘船艇时,不要对它的驾驶者行为做任何的假想。最重要的是自己做到慎之又慎。笔者在此仅仅提供几条珍贵的经验,但这些经验却是那些与航海打了一辈子交道的老船手们的智慧总结。
The reality of life （and Murphy＇s Law） is that any time two boats are on the water, there is a chance of collision. So Caswell＇s Rules combine COLREGS, Inland Rules and the Golden Rule （Do unto others…） to avoid any scrapes on the water. One major benefit of Caswell＇s Rules is they apply at all times： another is they＇re simpler; and, because of that. they＇re easier to remember. That alone would make them worth a look.
