本文在线粒体ＤＮＡ基因组特点的基础上，综述了ｍｔＤＮＡ多态性分析在动物起源进化、分类和育种等方面的研究进展。
Based on the description of mitochondrial DNA genome characters, the authors reviewed briefly the research progress of mtDNA polymorphism analysis in animal origination, evolution, classification and breeding.
